Background and Training
Dr. Adam Kemp is a specialist in interventional pain medicine and anesthesiology, currently practicing in Eugene, Oregon. Born in Portland and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Kemp’s early years were shaped by his father’s military service, which eventually brought the family to the Florida Panhandle. After completing his undergraduate degree in finance at the University of Tampa, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, Dr. Kemp worked in corporate banking. However, his passion for helping others led him to pursue a career in medicine.
Dr. Kemp earned his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, where he received multiple awards for academic excellence and teaching. He then completed his residency in anesthesiology at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem, North Carolina, followed by a fellowship in Pain Medicine at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina.

Since 2021, Dr. Kemp has been practicing at Pain Specialists of Oregon, where he has built a reputation for compassionate, evidence-based care that is tailored to each patient’s unique values and goals. We treat pain in virtually every part of the body from many causes with a focus on improving function and quality of life.
